What’s a Thought Book?


A “thought book” presents a synopsis of a subject matter while utilizing a reflective process that makes a series of statements. Melody is a singer/musician/songwriter currently living in Nashville, TN. Originally from the Chicago area, Melody grew up listening to music her whole life through the influences of her musical parents. Melody started out as an instrumentalist (oboe, sax, flute, clarinet, keyboard), but it wasn’t long until she found her voice as a singer and fell in love with it. Being Hispanic (half Puerto Rican, half Mexican), and graduating with a degree in Jazz Studies, she has learned to appreciate the differences in these musical stylings, as well as others, and learn how they can work together beautifully. She has sung and played in many different bands, with many very talented people, in many different countries and loves being able to communicate and express herself through her God-given gift of music.
